Sarah has lived in various states across the country and has always felt at home in the Newcastle/Lake Macquarie region. Sarah has a Bachelor's degree focused in Teaching / Design and Technology from the University of Newcastle and has 10 years of teaching experience. For the past several years Sarah has spent time within the Cyber Security industry and was tasked with closing the cyber skills shortage as the Workforce Development Lead.

In between this Sarah has a start-up sustainable swimwear label (Amarese Designs) and is dedicated to ensuring all of her business requirements are ethical and Australian Made. Experience encompasses designing, manufacturing, social media and marketing opportunities for leading the pathway to success.

Through Sarah’s experience, she is skilled across various project planning and delivery methods, event management, team leadership, strategic and business planning. Sarah’s experience demonstrates valuable opportunities to build and connect across Government, Industry and various educational sectors.
