New Stepping Up Program
Commencing June 2009
Hunter Business Centre will be delivering the Stepping Up program on behalf of the Department of State and Regional Development. The program objective is to assist small business owners maximise the performance and productivity of their staff, and become an "employer of choice". The program provides one-on-one mentoring plus workshops and seminars. If you are a small business Owner/Operator trading for more than 2 years and have 2 employees or more, than this program could be for you.

The Hunter Business Centre is a community-based, not-for-profit, business assistance organisation which is owned and supported by the local community and funded by both State and Commonwealth Governments.

The Hunter Business Centre provides services designed to assist people who wish to start their own business, as well as those who wish to expand, develop or better manage their existing business. Assistance is provided to operators of small and medium size enterprises.

As a Registered Training Organisation under the Australian Quality Training Framework, the Hunter Business Centre is registered to deliver training, conduct assessment and issue qualifications. Currently our main training program is the Certificate IV in Small Business Management.
